15-Second Bio: Ann Coleman (TMF AnnC) provides answers for the Ask the Fool column and for email questions that strike her fancy. If you slip her a tenspot she may even provide correct answers. She's been a Fool since 1995, which makes her an old Fool, and her two teenaged children are turning her into a very old Fool. Originally from Tampa, she hates the heat and loves winter -- the more snow the better. She likes writing, but loves spreadsheets. When not working, she tries to sleep. Otherwise, she reads -- mostly science fiction but the hard stuff, too, when she can get it. She's also fond of travel books, having never left the northwestern quadrant of the globe. Sigh. She lives in Virginia with one dog, two kids, five cats, and assorted goldfish -- if she hasn't killed them recently (the goldfish, not the kids).
