15-Second Bio: Brian Bauer (TMF Hoops) is the Motley Fool's Managing Editor. He oversees the Fool's online and print content and coordinates the writing and editing staff. At present, he also directs the Fool's premium research products. Previously, he was an editor at the Congressional Information Service, a unit of Lexis-Nexis. In 1996, when his passion for the stock market got the better of him Brian joined the Fool, and soon became it's full-time editor and (token baby boomer). Brian received an English teaching degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and has been a professional editor for over 15 years.
