Go Vols! 15-Second Bio: Matt Richey (TMF Matt) is a senior investment analyst. On any given day, you're most likely to find Matt at a Starbucks poring over a 10-K with a calculator in tow. His favorite investment ideas have a predictable business, trustworthy management, a strong balance sheet, a low multiple to free cash flow, and a negatively skewed perception among the investment community that creates additional upside potential. He finds short candidates among companies with the opposite attributes. Matt discovered The Motley Fool while a student at the University of Tennessee (B.S. Foolishness... err Finance, 1998). After college he did a short stint at Andersen Consulting, but soon realized he was too much of a Fool for the corporate world.
