15-Second Bio: Richard McCaffery (TMF Gibson) is a writer/analyst at Fool HQ in Alexandria, Virginia. After graduating from the University of Buffalo with a bachelor's degree in English, Richard worked as a hotel night clerk in Yellowstone Park, a housepainter, and a counselor at a wilderness school. In 1994 he started writing for a daily newspaper in Prince William County, Virginia followed by stints as a business reporter at trade newspapers Space News and Washington Technology. He's currently a Level 1 candidate in the CFA Program. He lives in Maryland with his wife Linda.
