The holidays are here and Hasbro (NYSE: HAS) appears to be high on the Pokemon shopping list with its plush Pikachu and Wizards of the Coast trading cards. Six months ago the momentum was building for the company to strike it rich on its "Star Wars" licensing rights.
Our bull Louis Corrigan (TMF Seymor) thought so. Our Voting Fools thought so. Rick Munarriz (TMF Edible) thought not. As the toy sector fell out of favor on earnings shortfalls, so did Hasbro. Even the mighty psychic Mew couldn't save Hasbro as its shares have fallen 27% in that time.
Victory? Rick Munarriz. Congrats!
