This lesson is called "Your Heirs, Your Disasters." Our hope is that we are dealing with two subjects here, not one. But since the subject of disasters could have profound consequences for your heirs, we thought we'd put them together. So, friends, let us join hands and contemplate the following: What would happen if, between now and your targeted retirement date, some catastrophe should befall you such as disability, or even death? It's not a jovial thought, we grant you, but one that we have to bring up nonetheless. What would happen, of course, depends largely on the plans we've laid for our legal affairs should we become disabled, and for our estate after we die. That's what this critical lesson is about.
