Okay, folks, it's time for the final contest in this series, and there are still five people with a shot at the $500 grand prize. In addition, everyone, even those who've not yet entered a single contest, has a chance to finish in the top ten, and therefore win a smaller prize like a TMF cap or tee-shirt.

We've got a great finale planned for you. After it's all over, you will know the true meaning of March Madness! The contest will wind up on the evening of April Fool's Day... our Foolish National Holiday.

Our Stock Madness contest works in much the same way as your typical NCAA basketball office pool. We've chosen 16 publicly traded companies -- eight giants of industry, and eight sports-related companies. We're matching them up against each other in one-day showdowns. On each day of the competition, the stock with the greatest percentage gain that day will advance to the next round.

Stock Madness!

You'll simply tell us which stocks you think will "win" along each step of the way -- all the way through the finals on April 1. Similar to an office basketball pool, you'll get one point for each "game" you pick correctly. There are 13 games in all, so you have a chance of getting a total of 13 points. (A sample entry is included below.)

The winner of this week's contest will be the person who has tallied the most points. There is a tiebreaker, and it is very important because there will likely be some folks who finish with the same point total. For the tiebreaker, tell us how many total points will be scored in the finals of the NCAA basketball tournament on April 1. The closest to the actual total wins the tiebreaker. If anyone is still tied after that, we'll revert to the old coin-flip method. This week's winner, in addition to any prizes he or she may win in the overall race, will receive our Panning for Gold: Find Great Stocks online seminar absolutely free.

Entry Form
You'll enter this contest the same way you have in the past, either by posting to the Fool Contests discussion board, or by emailing to contest@fool.com. (If you email, include your registered Fool username!) The brackets above will help you better visualize the matchups, but you should use the form below to enter. Please note the dates of each one-day competition. We suggest you copy and paste it, just to make sure you get it filled out right. To choose the team or company you think will win, simply type its name out to the side, like this:
