(February 1, 1999) -- Another salesman visited today because it's the slow season and this is the time to sell to us. More equipment, more insurance, another barn, even. Anything that a person might need. I didn't need it last year, but they think that I will this year. They're always certain of it.
You know what I think? Their certainty regarding what we need has a lot to do with their own livelihood. Lucinda always wants to help anyone who visits. I like to show them the dogs.
I saw that the S&P 500 fell 0.52% to start February and the Harry Jones Portfolio fell 0.66%.
