How is Wayne Huizenga's driving lately? Six months ago Jim Surowiecki (Surowiecki) and Louis Corrigan (TMF Seymor) were bull and bear respectively on the prospects of Republic Industries (NYSE: RII).

The shares of the auto retailer have been a bit of a lemon since then as the stock has fallen from $26 5/8 to $17 7/16, falling 34.5%. What, Jim finally loses a Duel? Indeed.
