Dueling Fools Duel Flashback
Costco

September 13, 2000

Is bigger better? Six months ago we took our sturdy shopping carts deep into warehouse club leader Costco (Nasdaq: COST). Chris Rugaber (TMF RFK) was the bull. Rick Aristotle Munarriz (TMF Edible) was the bear.

A wide majority -- 69% -- favored our optimist's take. Unfortunately, the stock went on to shed 20% of its value after the bout.

Victory? Rick. Congrats!

Revisit the Costco Duel.
