Dueling Fools

January 3, 2001

GO.com is gone. Enter Disney Internet Group (NYSE: DIG). While Disney (NYSE: DIS) was hoping the brand name moniker would help give its GO portal a green light -- it merely slammed on the brakes and went in reverse.

The Voting Bulls sided with the bull, Rick Aristotle Munarriz (TMF Edible). But a cruel crumble for dot-coms didn't spare the company formerly known as GO.com any carnage. The shares have tumbled 64% since the Duel ran over the summer. Guess Disney got the ticker symbol right anyway.

Victory? LouAnn Lofton (TMF Lou2). Congrats!
