Dueling Fools
Duel Flashback
Berkshire Hathaway
August 29, 2001
Can't all Fools agree on Warren Buffett? No. Not even. Six months ago we took a look at Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK). With the stock price perched at $68,600 which way would it sway? It figured to be a shoo-in for the biggest decision on a per share basis.
Jerry Thomas (TMF Cheeze) was our Bull. Rick Aristotle Munarriz (TMF Edible) was our Bear. Voting Fools sided with the optimistic Jerry and the battle turned out to be much closer than anyone could have expected. Six months later the stock had ticked slightly higher, to $69,900.
Victory? Jerry and our Voting Fools. Congrats!
