How to Play
& Rules
Playing Fool Survivor is as easy as pie. Just follow the steps
below and you'll be entered in no time.
Make Sure You're Registered
and Logged In
Become a registered Fool. It's quick, free, and easy. Simply visit our registration
page. After you register, you'll be returned to the entry page. If you're
already a registered user, make sure you're logged in.
Enter the Game
- OK, now everyone should be registered, logged in, and on our entry page. On that page, you'll
see our 10 castaways. If you'd like more information about them, click on
their names and their bios will appear.
- Select the first castaway that you think will be voted off the island by
clicking on the button below that person. Remember, the Fool community will be
doing the voting. Then click on the "Select Castaway" button. The criteria for
voting someone off is up to you. Would you want to live with them if you were
on the island? Or do you just hate the person? Or would they be competition if
you were trying to survive? Have fun.
- You'll then be returned to the same entry page, and the photo of the
person you clicked on will be grayed out.
- Select the second castaway you think will be voted off the island and
follow the same procedure stated in number two above.
- Continue until you have ordered all 10 castaways.
- Anxiously await the confirmation e-mail.
- Visit the Fool Survivor discussion board to
discuss the game.
The Game Begins on Wednesday, September 6, 2000
- On the morning of September 6, we'll post our first daily report from the
island. Find out what's happening on Foolonga! There will be a new report from
the island each morning.
- Vote for the castaway you'd like to see leave. Votes will be held every
day between the hours of 11 a.m. (ET) and 11 p.m. (ET). The castaway getting
the most votes will be forced to leave the island immediately. In case of a
tie, we'll use the alphabetical order of their last names. "Raven the Chimp"
counts as an "R."
- Continue to visit the Fool Survivor discussion board to
discuss what's happening on the island and your latest vote.
