Ms. Muffet Poem

By Raggmopp

Little Ms. Muffett sat on her tuffett
Preparing her Thanksgiving bird.
When along came a spider
Who sat down beside her
And said, "Perhaps you have heard

That we're approaching the day
That they have dubbed Y2K
And the market will tank pretty quick.
And I'm the sort of a guy who'd like to see you sell high
Lest your losses wind up making you sick."

"You've quite flipped your lid, you dumb arachnid.
I'm not bothered by your threats of loss.
As for the gains that I've made,
Let it be recorded that I said
It's my money and I'm still the boss.

Now I'll grant you it's true
That the Motley Fool view
Is to be knowing at what point to sell.
But their aim seems most sound,
So I'm standing my ground.
I'll just sit where I am for a spell."
