Mentor Graphics Announces that ON Semiconductor Completed Multiple Successful Tapeouts Using Pyxis Custom Router
WILSONVILLE, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Mentor Graphics Corp. (Nasdaq: MENT ) today announced that the automotive business unit of ON Semiconductor, a premier supplier of high-performance silicon solutions for energy efficient electronics, has completed multiple successful tapeouts with the Pyxis® Custom IC Router including that of a highly integrated, complex power chip. The Pyxis custom router gave ON Semiconductor a 10x improvement in productivity and helped them shave eight weeks from the overall tapeout schedule.
