NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG ) announced today that its Criminal Activity Surveillance LLC subsidiary has entered into a settlement agreement with Siemens Industry, Inc. covering a patent directed to video analytics used in the field of security. This agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
