Company Also Featuring Additional Hearing Health Products and Technologies

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- IntriCon Corporation (Nasdaq: IIN  ) , a designer, developer, manufacturer and distributor of miniature and micro-miniature body-worn devices, today announced it will introduce Audion4™, its new four-channel hearing aid amplifier, at AudiologyNOW!, the annual convention of the American Academy of Audiology, being held April 4-6, 2013, at the Anaheim, Calif., Convention Center.

“We’re excited to unveil Audion4, the latest amplifier in our Audion family, at the hearing health industry’s largest annual event,” said Mark S. Gorder, president and chief executive officer of IntriCon. “Audion4 broadens our amplifier product offering—giving manufacturers even more options to be competitive in today’s emerging value sector of the hearing health market.”

IntriCon’s Audion4 is a feature-rich amplifier designed to fit a wide array of applications. In addition to multiple compression channels, the amplifier has a complete set of proven adaptive features which greatly improve the user experience.

Along with Audion4, IntriCon will feature its Audion6™ amplifier and Lumen™ 1000 wireless hearing system, which were released at the International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) in October 2012.

Said Gorder, “The Lumen system incorporates our intuitive Physiolink™ wireless technology to allow clear communication. It also features voiceStream™ and linkStream™ accessories that allow music, television audio or a companion’s voice to be wirelessly broadcasted directly to the hearing aid—making the system significantly more versatile than traditional hearing devices.”

AudiologyNOW! is an annual event of, by and for audiologists, held by the American Academy of Audiology, the world's largest professional organization of audiologists. With an active membership of more than 10,000 audiologists, the academy promotes quality hearing and balance care by advancing the profession of audiology through leadership, advocacy, education, public awareness and support of research.

IntriCon will be at booth 1899 during show hours, on Thursday, April 4, through Saturday, April 6. IntriCon also has rooms reserved for demonstrations and meetings.
