Arrow Electronics to Launch First Ad Campaign During NCAA Final Four

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Arrow Electronics Inc. (NYSE: ARW  ) today announced that it will launch a corporate advertising campaign during the NCAA Division I men’s basketball Final Four games on April 6 and April 8. The national television advertisements will appear on the CBS network, a first for Arrow and its peer group in the electronics supply chain and distribution industry.

The campaign is designed to increase awareness for this Fortune 150 company that has an instrumental role in bringing innovation to life in a variety of industries on a global basis. The television spots, created by Ogilvy & Mather Chicago, introduce the “Innovators Club,” building on Arrow’s Five Years Out brand platform and bring to life the company’s role of guiding today’s innovators to a better tomorrow.

“This is the right time to define our identity to the broader marketplace and convey the extent of our reach across the technology landscape, and the true breadth of our offering, to customers, suppliers and employees,” said Rich Kylberg, vice president, corporate communications and global marketing, Arrow. “Our advertisements will highlight and celebrate the role innovators past and present have played, and will continue to play, in creating the very best of what is ‘next’ for the world. Arrow’s advertisements are scheduled to run during both national semifinal games on Saturday, April 6, as well as the championship game on Monday, April 8.
