Amazon customers can now order boutique wines shipped directly from highly-rated wineries for delivery to Texas
SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Amazon.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN ) today announced that customers can now place orders on Amazon Wine (www.amazon.com/wine) for delivery to Texas. Amazon Wine offers vast wine-country selection and allows customers to purchase directly from their favorite wineries. In addition, customers are now able to purchase directly from Texas wineries, who join the more than 350 wineries and 2,200 labels already available on Amazon Wine.

Customers will now have access to highly-rated Texas wines and can explore prestigious selection from Messina Hof, Becker Vineyards, McPherson Cellars, Brennan Vineyards and Llano Estacado, among others. Customers can also find popular wine-country picks from California, Oregon and Washington State like the 2006 Tudor Wines Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 2009 Torii Mor Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, and the 2008 Cougar Crest Cabernet Franc from the Walla Walla Valley.
Today, direct-to-consumer shipping from wineries is available to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, Wyoming, and the District of Columbia. Customers can ship up to six bottles of their favorite wine for $9.99. With the addition of Texas, Amazon Wine has added delivery to four states since originally launching in November with more states to follow.
