WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Stanley Healthcare, a market leading provider of safety, security and operational efficiency solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that it will be showcasing the latest innovations and its comprehensive portfolio of solutions for the senior living industry at the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) 2013 Conference and Expo this week.
Stanley Healthcare has been serving the senior living market for 20 years and is a trusted solution provider to more than 12,000 long-term care organizations around the world. The company brings together market-leading solutions such as Arial® Wireless E-Call, WanderGuard® Wander Management and the AeroScout® Real-Time Location System (RTLS), all in one solution EcoSystem from a single, trusted provider.
At ALFA 2013, Stanley Healthcare will be demonstrating its full range of solutions for assisted living communities, including its newly enhanced Arial Wireless E-Call solution, now with Dome Light Integration.
Arial enables senior living communities to integrate resident safety and building security systems—including emergency call, wander management, fall management and access control—to create a single, powerful way to improve care, reduce risk and increase staff efficiency. Dome Light Integration to the Arial solution is a method for alerting staff to an alarm from a call station used with the Arial solution. When the resident pushes the button on a call station, the dome light outside the resident room activates—in this way, staff members know exactly which room and resident the alarm came from.
“We’re extremely proud of the work we’re doing with organizations around the world to improve the quality of life for millions of residents in assisted living communities,” said Tammy Eden, Vice President of Sales, LTC and Partner Programs at Stanley Healthcare. “Technology or point solutions alone cannot deliver the full safety, security and efficiency that assisted living facilities require to serve their residents—they need a partner with deep experience and a comprehensive offering to serve a diverse range of needs. That is exactly what the Stanley Healthcare EcoSystem uniquely delivers.”
Stanley Healthcare’s EcoSystem addresses five critical priorities for senior living communities:
Resident Safety—wireless e-call, wander management, fall management, and automated hand hygiene monitoring solutions to automate and improve processes that support resident safety
Security & Protection—staff security and facility security solutions to help protect at-risk residents and staff
Staff Workflow—staff tracking and staff assist solutions to improve operational efficiency, optimize workflow and enhance the resident experience
Environmental Monitoring—Wi-Fi–based temperature and humidity monitoring solutions to monitor refrigerated storage and other equipment to help ensure optimal conditions for safe resident care
Storage Solutions & Asset Management—open storage, distribution carts and asset tracking and management to safely store supplies and manage important equipment
Stanley Healthcare’s widely used Wi-Fi RTLS, the platform for many of Stanley Healthcare’s solutions, has received the exclusive endorsement of the American Hospital Association, and the 2012 Best in KLAS report named Stanley Healthcare’s solutions the Category Leader for RTLS.*
