ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MedAssets (Nasdaq: MDAS  ) today announced that the company will be participating in the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) 39th AnnualEducational Conference and Exposition, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta from May 15-18, 2013.MedAssets will highlight successful use of its patient access management technology and services to help healthcare organizations realize a significant increase in point-of-service (POS) collections.

In a presentation titled, POS Collections: Changing the Culture at Oconee Medical Center,” Oconee Medical Centerwill share how MedAssets consultants worked with the acute care facility to build the infrastructure, tools and processes necessary for best practice performance. As a result of the engagement, the facility achieved a 90 percent increase in POS collections within an eight-week period. The presentation is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, at 1:30 p.m. EDT.
