California United Bank Adds Experienced Lender to SBA Team

Dane Pastorius brings 20 years of experience in lending to CUB’s north Los Angeles offices

ENCINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- California United Bank (“CUB” or “the Company”), a subsidiary of CU Bancorp (Nasdaq: CUNB  ) , today announced that Dane Pastorius has joined the company as VP, SBA Business Development Officer, covering the Thousand Oaks, Santa Clarita and Simi Valley offices. Dane joins CUB’s SBA team that includes Andy Weaver, SVP and Carlo de Lucia, SVP who handle the Los Angeles metro and Orange County regions, respectively. California United Bank has Preferred Lenders Program (“PLP”) participant status with the U.S. Small Business Administration (“SBA”).

Mr. Pastorius brings 20 years of banking experience to California United Bank’s SBA team, and in his most recent role, he doubled the yearly SBA production of his former employer. “With Dane’s background and success, he truly could pick where he wanted to continue his banking career and we are thrilled that he chose California United Bank,” noted Orange County Regional Manager and Executive Vice President, Steve Pihl, who leads the SBA Team. “He comes at the ideal time to expand our northern SBA business and, along with Carlo and Andy, gives us a powerhouse SBA team.”
