MORRISTOWN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- QPharma, a leading regulatory consulting and brand solutions firm for life sciences, has announced the appointment of Maria A. Galdos to the position of Senior Manager, Healthcare Compliance. Galdos specializes in helping pharmaceutical, medical device, and other life sciences organizations establish and maintain full compliance with rules and guidance enacted by state and federal regulatory authorities, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Galdos’ expertise includes comprehensive knowledge of the Physician Payments Sunshine Act, which governs transparency concerning transfers of value from life sciences manufacturers to physicians and teaching hospitals. She also oversaw Compliance Department activities at Alpharma Pharmaceuticals. Galdos holds an M.S. in Information Systems from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business and is currently enrolled at the Seton Hall School of Law.

Asked what attracted her to the position at QPharma, Galdos cited the firm’s longstanding reputation as a leader in compliance and commercial solutions for life sciences. “I look forward to contributing to continued strong business growth at QPharma,” she said.

“I am pleased to welcome Maria to our management team,” added Ed Sleeper, Managing Director, Commercial Strategies and Solutions at QPharma. “Her deep understanding of the complex and evolving regulations affecting life sciences manufacturers will position her as an asset to our clients.”
