The Abilene build out is a “metro build” targeting more than 1,000 business customers and modeled after the Company’s metro build in Wichita Falls, Texas. Additionally, the Company has begun construction of its fiber network in the town of Hammond as well as other communities in Louisiana. NTS’ ongoing fiber build out, when completed, is expected to reach 19 new communities, bringing the Company’s total FTTP passings to more than 53,000.

Mr. Guy Nissenson, Chairman, President and CEO of NTS commented, “We have seen a strong demand for our high speed, triple play offering from our metro build in Wichita Falls, and we believe Abilene is an ideal market for the expansion of our metro build strategy. The business community relies on high speed bandwidth and the speed and accessibility of our network meets its expectations. We’re pleased to have connected our first customer in Abilene and look forward to adding more in the coming weeks.”
