Dueling Fools: Cisco vs. SYSCO

As far as phonetic twins go, what do Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO  ) and SYSCO (NYSE: SYY  ) have besides a sibling rivalry? They have little in common. One hooks you up with food. The other hooks you up, period. One is a food-service giant. The other is a tech spending bellwether. SYSCO is an Income Investor recommendation. Cisco is not an official pick, though it would probably be right at home at some of our more aggressive growth newsletters.

They even trade on different exchanges.

So why pit one against the other? Well, because we can. Anders Bylund is bullish on Cisco, and Chuck Saletta feels strongly about SYSCO being the better play for your investing dollar.

So is it Cisco or SYSCO that belongs in your portfolio? That's what this week's Duel is all about.
