  • Revenues rose 14.5% to $16.9 billion, while identical supermarket sales grew by 5.6%.
  • Earnings per share increased by 38.5% to $0.54 per diluted share, compared with $0.39 per diluted share in the same period last year.
  • The company expects EPS to grow by 9% to 12% in fiscal 2007, with earnings of $1.60-$1.65 per diluted share.
