Although we don't believe in timing the market or panicking over market movements, we do like to keep an eye on big changes -- just in case they're material to our investing thesis.

What: Shares of Chelsea Therapeutics (Nasdaq: CHTP) jumped more than 10% today on low volume on the announcement that it's releasing third-quarter results on Monday.

So what: There's no logical connection between the two events, and no relevant news from the company or its partner, Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma. Nothing to see here.

Now what: Chelsea is a tiny company with a volatile stock. Unless there's something I'm missing, this seems like just another market movement.
