Why I'm Down 50% on Bank of America

The following video is part of our "Motley Fool Conversations" series, in which Anand Chokkavelu, senior banking analyst, discusses topics around the financial world.

The banking industry has been beaten down in recent months and years. But Bank of America has fared worse than most. Anand explains why he's been so wrong on B of A -- at least so far.

If the big banks like JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America aren't your cup of tea, let me (Anand here) leave you with a smaller, simpler bank that has some of the best operational numbers I've ever seen. I wrote about it in our brand new free report:"The Stocks Only the Smartest Investors Are Buying." I invite you to take a free copy to find out the name of the bank I believe Warren Buffett would be interested in if he could still invest in small banks. Click here to access it now.

Anand Chokkavelu owns shares of Bank of America, JPMorgan, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo. He also owns warrants on JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo and long-dated options on Bank of America. The Motley Fool owns shares of Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo and has created a covered strangle position on Wells Fargo. Try any of our Foolish newsletter services free for 30 days.
