Is Waste Management a Buy Today?

The following video is part of our "Motley Fool Conversations" series, in which editor/analyst Isaac Pino and editor/analyst Austin Smith discuss topics across the investing world.

In today's edition, Austin and Isaac look at the trash collection industry to expose a strong company that investors should consider for their portfolios. Many companies in this area were able to weather the economic downturn over the past few years. The most diversified players not only generate cash and strong margins, but they continue to invest in growth opportunities. Find out which company Isaac likes for the year ahead.

The retail sector is full of industry winners and losers. To learn about a few, we invite you to take a look at The Motley Fool's special free report: "The Death of Wal-Mart: The Real Cash Kings Changing the Face of Retail." In it, you'll see which retailers are able to consistently outperform and how two cash kings are planning to ride the waves of retail's changing tide. You can access it by clicking here.

The Steve Jobs Betrayal
You may already know that in the final year of his life, Jobs revealed a stunning betrayal — and told his biographer, "I will spend my last dying breath... and every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank to right this wrong." What was it that made Jobs so irate — and why could it make a few in-the-know investors some major profits over the coming months and years?

Enter your email address below to find out what made Jobs so enraged!

Good info. Just a thought here... I own and follow so many different individual stocks that I have to save copies of most the info I read since it's simply impossible to remember all the info I encounter that's useful to to my ongoing due diligence. Can't do that at all with video clips... plus, I'm not the only one who prefers the option to scan articles quickly, rather than be forced to sit through banter for a few gems of info... perhaps transcripts could be posted as .pdf files along with video clips... ambitious, I know, but perhaps worth considering.

I live far out in the middle on nowhere and the high speed internet service is unavalible to me except thru the expensive sat. service. I like, djohn1969, like to save copies of the various articles for reference and further study. I have found Motley Fool's information every helpful and interesting but film clips are impossable to save

If it were possible to provide written transcrips of these interviews it would be great.
