There's never a dull week on Wall Street. Let's go over some of the news that will shape the week to come.

Monday
The new trading week kicks off with Mindspeed Technologies (NYSE: WWW) reporting its quarterly results. Wall Street sees the network equipment chip maker posting a small loss this time, reversing a year-ago profit.

Tuesday
What can Brown do for you? We'll find out on Tuesday when United Parcel Service (NYSE: UPS) reports. The delivery giant will naturally provide us with a healthy glimpse on how UPS itself is doing. Analysts see modest earnings growth during the period. However, strength or weakness at UPS may also signal strength or weakness in consumer confidence as a great gauge of spending habits.

Wednesday
JDS Uniphase (Nasdaq: JDSU) checks in on Wednesday. The provider of fiber-optic components for the communications industry shed nearly a third of its value last year, and its profitability is also going the wrong way. Wall Street believes that JDS Uniphase will earn roughly a third of the $0.29 a share that it earned during the same quarter a year earlier.

Thursday
Take-Two Interactive
(Nasdaq: TTWO) still has diehard gamers waiting on a release date for Grand Theft Auto V. The renegade publisher and developer of video games reports on Thursday. Maybe it will have some more concrete details on the anticipated action title after releasing a trailer late last year. Maybe not.

Friday
The final trading day of the week won't be all that quiet. A couple of earnings reports -- spearheaded by mall landlord giant Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) -- wraps up a week that is waist-deep in earnings season.
