What's in Store for Apple's Next Earnings

The following video is part of our "Motley Fool Conversations" series, in which senior technology analyst Eric Bleeker discusses topics around the investing world.

In today's edition Eric takes a look back at Apple's earnings now that we've seen other major mobile players report earnings. In particular, he says Apple investors should take a close look at Qualcomm's earnings. The company is the IP giant of the mobile world, so its results give a number of insights into the mobile industry. In its past quarter, Qualcomm emphasized smartphone growth within China itself. That hints toward what will be driving Apple's results in the quarter ahead: growth inside markets such as Brazil and China, where the iPhone 4S saw either limited or no availability in the blowout holiday quarter.

Apple is readying to ride growth in China to another blowout quarter, but it's just one opportunity within this exploding market. The Motley Fool has just released a free report on mobile named "The Next Trillion-Dollar Revolution" that details a hidden component play inside mobile phones that's also absolutely dominating the exploding tech market in China. Inside the report, we not only describe why the mobile revolution will dwarf any other technology revolution seen before it, but we also name the company at the forefront of the trend. The Steve Jobs Betrayal
You may already know that in the final year of his life, Jobs revealed a stunning betrayal — and told his biographer, "I will spend my last dying breath... and every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank to right this wrong." What was it that made Jobs so irate — and why could it make a few in-the-know investors some major profits over the coming months and years?

Another solid quarter for apple as stock heads to 685.00. Better lock and load on apple. Buy Buy Buy cause once they announce dividend it will go up 85 points in 2 weeks. Earnings will be strong. Randy W

I personally see lots of success in 2012 and beyond. IPAD's are going to be in many more homes than they are today and the IPhone's newer generations will start upgrade crazes.
