EPS came in at $1.26. The nine earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $1.17 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.26 for Q4 were 133% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.54 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 15.8%, 260 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 10.1%, 340 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 9.5%, 340 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $3.32 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.85.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $12.04 billion. The average EPS estimate is $2.98.
