In order to attend the Annual Meeting you must be a shareholder of record or a beneficial holder as of the close of business on the record date, May 17, 2012. You may also attend if you hold a valid proxy for the Annual Meeting. All attendees should be prepared to present photo identification for admission.
The meeting is for shareholders only; members of the media are invited to listen to the live Webcast.
Shareholders of Record: You are a "shareholder of record" if your shares of Yahoo! stock are registered directly in your name with our transfer agent, Computershare Trust Company, N.A. If you are a shareholder of record, your photo ID will be verified against the list of shareholders of record eligible for admission.
Beneficial Holders: You are a "beneficial holder" if you hold shares of Yahoo! stock through a brokerage firm, bank, or other nominee. If you are a beneficial holder, you will need to provide one of the following for admission:
- A copy of the meeting notification you received by e-mail (if you opted-in to electronic delivery of proxy materials);
- A copy of the Voting Instructions form or Legal Proxy provided by your broker, bank or other nominee;
- A brokerage account statement showing that you owned Yahoo! stock on May 17, 2012; or
- Other similar evidence that you held Yahoo! stock on May 17, 2012.
If you do not provide photo identification or comply with the other requirements above upon request, you may not be admitted to the Annual Meeting.
