What's Driving AMD's 8% Rally

Of note, Eric discusses a Goldman Sachs upgrade yesterday but notes that AMD has been weighed down by peer Intel's lowered guidance.     AMD has all three game consoles. The Oban APU for xbox and Wii U and Radeon 7000 for PS4.

    That is worth a billion a year in sales and 10 billion in synergy.

    Add to that AMD was shorted heavily and oversold.
