1 Company That May Already Be Dead

Today Motley Fool analysts answer a question from a viewer about Research In Motion's  (Nasdaq: RIMM  ) future.

With the company announcing Blackberry 10, one viewer wonders if this could be the catalyst they've been waiting for.

Unfortunately the gang doesn't think this will be a meaningful launch.

Especially now that Apple has launched their iPhone 5 to the tune of 5 million devices in the first weekend alone, these analysts think Blackberry's timing couldn't be worse.

Instead investors should look to buy greatness and go with Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL  ) If you're scared about their high share-price, you shouldn't be. The company still has a lot of growth left. We'll tell you how in a brand new report that details when to buy and sell Apple. To get started, just click here now.

Let's see...billionaire Prem Watsa, one of the best investors of our generation, recently accumulated a 9.9% stake in RIMM and joined its board. Yet a group of subscription salesmen think they are smarter than he is. Don't bet on it.

What would you say if you discover in his next quarterly statement that Prem Watsa sold most of or all of his entire stake during the recent uplift?

I think the iP5 is a great phone....as long as you don't need maps......

We all just learned that the Apple magic is not quite what it used to be. Users are disappointed with the lack of innovation.... Still iSheep sign up for more......but not at the previous exuberant levels.

RIM had some good news this week for a change and it's evidence that the turnaround is gaining traction. 7.4 Million devices sold this quarter, cash now sitting at 3.2 Billion and still no debt.

Not bad for a dead company.

I just love a dead company that ads 2 million new users to the already 78 million existing and prepares for a new launch. Wish all dead companies could do this. Normal report for the Fool, all apple fanboys so why should we expect any different, should call themselves foolapple.
