Networking Earnings Preview: What to Expect, and What to Watch For

In just a few days, Alcoa (NYSE: AA  ) will kick off the new earnings season, followed later in October by Juniper (NYSE: JNPR  ) Networks, F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV  ) , and Riverbed Technology. Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO  ) is slated for around Nov. 13, with Aruba Networks (UNKNOWN: ARUN.DL  ) bringing up the rear at some point in the month. Having just delayed filing its 10-K because of "deficiency in internal control," Aruba has a time frame that's particularly ambiguous. In the preceding video, analyst Eric Bleeker discusses what can be expected from networking this quarter, as well as what investors should pay close attention to.

Considering the mind-boggling rate at which the amount of data stored and transmitted via the Internet is growing each year, it only makes sense that the networking arena will continue to thrive.
