Apple Flexes Its Tablet Muscle One More Time

In the following video, Motley Fool tech and telecom analyst Andrew Tonner gives us a different way to think about tablets in the market today. He takes a look at the numbers out from research firm Canalys, which includes tablets as PCs when discussing PC sales. Andrew tells us why he thinks this is a particularly illustrative way to look at PC and tablet sales as tablets continue to disrupt the PC market, and using this measurement of overall PC sales, he highlights Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL  ) as the clear winner over several other beleaguered names in the PC business.

There's no doubt that Apple is at the center of technology's largest revolution ever, and that longtime shareholders have been handsomely rewarded with over 1,000% gains. However, after its recent backslide, there is a debate raging as to whether Apple remains a buy. The Motley Fool's senior technology analyst and managing bureau chief, Eric Bleeker, is prepared to fill you in on both reasons to buy and reasons to sell Apple, and what opportunities are left for the company (and your portfolio) going forward.
