The Brewers Association today released its annual lists of the top 50 craft and overall brewing companies in the U.S. (based on 2012 sales volume), and the top of the rankings holds little surprise. Led by its Budweiser and Bud Light brands, Anheuser-Busch (Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD 0.39%)) is No.1. MillerCoors (Molson Coors (TAP 0.44%)), Pabst Brewing, D.G. Yuengling, and Boston Beer (SAM 1.88%) round out the top five. (The complete lists are below this video.)
No. 8 on the overall list -- and third in the craft beer rankings -- is New Belgium Brewing, from Fort Collins, Colo. CEO Kim Jordan was the keynote speaker at the recent Craft Brewers Conference, and our Rex Moore asked her about the overall craft growth picture in the beer industry.
