Ford Doubles Down on Quality

In most ways, Ford (NYSE: F  ) has executed tremendously well over the past few years -- but its new-vehicle launches have been a surprising exception. Early snags with the Escape, the Fusion, and the Lincoln MKZ were surprising slips by the Blue Oval -- slips that the company is determined not to repeat.

    Anyone that works in the auto biz knows not to buy the first, second or last year of a new model. They're like software, the first adopters get the "privelege" of owning a new car and doing all the debugging.
