Last week, Northrop Grumman (NOC -0.02%) announced it has awarded contracts worth $7.4 million to three new global supply chain partner companies in Australia. Electro Optic Systems in Mt. Stromlo and CEA Technologies and Insitec in Fyshwick, respectively, do work in aerospace hardware, space exploration, and software design, but that's hardly the only reason Northrop is giving them money.
