Industrial polymer manufacturer Myers Industries (MYE -0.04%) announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.09 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after raising the payout 12.5%, from $0.08 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 1 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 14. Myers has paid a dividend that has increased every year for nearly 40 years.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.36-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.4% based on the closing price of Myers Industries' stock on May 28.
