Natural gas provider Piedmont Natural Gas (PNY) announced this morning its second quarter dividend of $0.31 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after raising the pay 3%, from $0.30 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 24. The NG marketing, storage, and transportation specialist has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2005.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.24-per-share annual dividend, yielding 3.7% based on the closing price of Piedmont Natural Gas's stock on June 6.
