That amount matches each of the company's previous three distributions, the most recent of which was paid at the beginning of May. Before that, A. Schulman dispensed $0.19 per share.

The company has been a solid dividend payer over the years. Since 2000, its disbursement has climbed up gradually, from $0.135 per share to the current level.

The just-declared distribution annualizes to $0.78 per share. That yields just under 3% at A. Schulman's most recent closing stock price of $26.33.
