Facing lackluster performance from the Microsoft (MSFT 0.37%) Surface RT and Surface Pro, the company is hoping that, by turning to businesses through resellers like CDW, sales can improve. The Microsoft-branded tablets face stiff competition from both Apple and Google, and sales figures have shown it. In addition to opening distribution channels, Mr. Softy is rolling out a program to encourage developers to work on new apps in an effort to become more competitive.
