EPS came in at $1.10. The 16 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.67 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $1.10 for Q2 were 41% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.78 per share. (The prior-year quarter included $0.19 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.) GAAP EPS of $0.84 for Q2 were 9.7% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.93 per share. For the quarter, gross margin was 28.2%, 140 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 7.2%, 100 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 3.2%, 60 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
