Offshore drilling services provider Ensco (VAL) has opted to keep its dividend payout steady at $0.50 this quarter, the company announced this week.

This is the same amount the company has paid since March, after raising it 33% from $0.375 per share. The company has paid a quarterly dividend since 1997, and this latest amount will be payable on Sept. 20 to Ensco stockholders of record as of Sept. 9.

Ensco's annualized dividend adds up to $2.00 per share. As of market close on Aug. 16, the company had a stock price of $56.01, which means its dividend currently yields 3.6%.
