Cambridge, Mass.-based Pegasystems (PEGA 1.40%) announced the hire of a former Salesforce.com exec to take over two of its own C-level jobs Tuesday.
Beginning in early October, Rafeal E. Brown, a nine-year veteran of Salesforce, will fill the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Pegasystems. In a statement, Pegasystems Founder and CEO Alan Trefler said Brown's "extensive experience applying financial insight into operations will be a tremendous asset to Pegasystems as we continue to build a growth culture across our company."
For his part, Brown cited Pegasystems' "market leadership and strong financial outlook" as attracting him to the position. Analysts estimate that over the next five years, Pegasystems will experience 25% annualized earnings growth, more than six points ahead of the industry average.
