Campbell Soup (CPB 0.18%) will be upping its quarterly dividend by 7.6%, from $0.29 per share to $0.312. This is the first time the company has boosted its payout since January 2011, after raising the payment 5.4%, from $0.275, as well as paying a special dividend in December 2012 of $0.58.

The newest dividend will be payable on Oct. 28 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 8. Annualized, Campbell Soup's dividend currently adds to $1.248 per share. As of the market's close on Sept. 25, the company was trading at $41.28, which means Campbell's dividend offers a 3% yield.
