Global growth is imperative to the success of industrial metals miners like Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold  (NYSE: FCX  ) and Southern Copper Corp (NYSE: SCCO  ) . Adding to this decrease in demand, capital spending has been aimed at increasing supply. BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP  ) and Rio Tinto (NYSE: RIO  ) are currently working on water desalination in Chile that should help boost production in the mining-heavy South American nation. I have never heard of an air conditioner being stolen before. That might be because I have an older one and it wouldn't be worth the hassle of getting it out of my house. I probably should upgrade sometime soon.

I don't think I have ever heard of an air conditioner being stolen either. I guess if it gets hot enough people will do anything for air conditioning in their home. It seems like it would be a lot of work to steal one but I am not sure how they are even installed.
