Specialty materials manufacturer PPG Industries (PPG 0.11%) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.61 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 3%, from $0.59 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Dec. 12 to the holders of record at the close of business on Nov. 11. The regular dividend payment equates to a $2.44-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.4% based on the closing price today of PPG Industries' stock.
